Going On A Bee Hunt | Manchester

This is all part of a brilliant campaign by Manchester Council and Wild in Art, Bee in the City, and runs from 23 July – 23 September 2018. The bees have all been designed by different artists to showcase the many diverse and marvellous elements that make up the city of Manchester, both old and new.

Manchester Eats Festival 2018


Food festivals are my favourite kind of festival. No sweaty tents or noisy camping neighbours and you get to sample amazing food and drink all day long. This year, Manchester Eats Festival launched at Heaton Park. With chefs such as Marco Pierre White, Matt Tebbutt, Ed Baines, Mary-Ellen McTague and Adam Reid on board, you just know that the bar is already set high.

Sunday is undoubtedly my favourite day of the week. The usual weekday alarm clock gets firmly switched off and spending the entire morning lounging in bed is the norm. It’s also the only time that Adam and I get to enjoy leisurely brunches without conforming to our usual strict schedules.
