*I was invited to this show free of charge, however, all opinions are my own
My love of rockabilly culture was ingrained in me from an early age. My Dad is a huge fan of the fifties era and our home was filled with the legendary sounds of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly and more on a daily basis.
A few weeks ago, I visited somewhere rather special – The Vintage Beauty Parlour, based in Chorlton, Manchester. I actually attended a makeup class at the salon last year with my pin-up idol, Cherry Dollface. This time, I was booked in for a head full of glamorous Hollywood waves.
After being greeted by the gorgeous owner and director Bethany Jane Davis, we had a little chat about my hair over a pot of tea and got to work.
A few months ago, my friend Vicky and I booked tickets for a makeup class in Manchester with the gorgeous rockabilly and vintage model Cherry Dollface.
The event was hosted at The Vintage Beauty Parlour. Set in a residential area of Chorlton, Manchester, the salon has some cute vintage touches, beautiful décor and lots of windows to give a great atmosphere and ambience.
