My lottery win fantasy is to travel. And by this, I mean taking a year or two out from reality with Adam and the girls to explore the parts of Europe that I haven’t yet visited, indulge in a three-month road trip through Southern America, eat street food in Malaysia, learn how to swim in New Zealand and marvel at the culture of Toyoko.
Hola! It’s around 11pm and I’m currently lying in bed under soft cotton sheets in a beautiful, Pinterest-worthy apartment.
With bare brick features, a painfully modern white marble kitchen and a breathtaking view of the iconic Sagrada Familia from the window to boot, I can only dream of owning a home like this one day. Yes, I’m in the stunning city of Barcelona.
A few months ago, Adam and I booked ourselves a little weekend away via Feather Down Farms to celebrate being together for a year. We could have gone abroad to one of the many destinations on our mutual bucket list but after a chat, we both decided that we needed some time away from everything to relax for a while.
No wifi, technology, people or pressure. Just the two of us, a hefty supply of food and the glorious Lancashire countryside.
