Bespoke Paper Gifts with Twenty Fingers | Giveaway

Bespoke Paper Gifts with Twenty Fingers | Giveaway

When it comes to my home, I like to fill it with lots of little things that mean a lot. Trinkets from trips away, frames filled with silly pictures of my loved ones and cosy creature comforts to make this little abode my own.

My bookshelf is buckling with the weight of a million memories and secret treasures, such as the little glass ‘Lucky Black Cat’ that I brought home from an anniversary trip to York, the Lego figure from the top of our wedding cake, and a jar stuffed with seashells from a wonderful day spent on Barmouth Bay beach.

These knickknacks that adorn this space may not mean much to anyone else, but to me, they are souvenirs of events that I cherish dearly, daily reminders that life is more than the humdrum of adulting.

Music is also something that features regularly in my life so when Twenty Fingers offered me a bespoke lyric print to add my collection, it took me a few hours of careful deliberation before settling on words that are close to my heart.

I’ve been a big Frank Turner fan for many years and the song ‘Get Better’ reminds me of hearing it at his gigs with my dearest friends whilst generally having the time of our lives/dancing like lunatics. I also think that this particular line is poignant, heartfelt and reminds me that I’ve battled the very worst times and am still here to appreciate the words, possibly more than ever.

The ordering process was easy; I simply filled in a box on the Twenty Fingers website, stated which colours, frame and lyrics I’d like and they did the rest! Within just a few hours, I’d received an email with a proof copy of what my design would look like.

I’d initially chosen a duck egg blue for the laser cut section, however, changed my mind and asked if they could swap this for a navy blue to suit the nautical theme better. Ivan sent me an email back to say that this was no problem and made the amendments without a fuss.

The finished article arrived a week later and I was genuinely thrilled. The lyrics were housed in a beautiful 10″ x 12″ solid oak ‘floating frame’ (no cheap MDF here) and the design was better than I could have hoped. With music notes and rope detail, it matched the lyrics perfectly and is soon to take pride position in my living room.
