We share our home with three cats – Oscar, Lex and Luther. Oscar is our huge ginger cat (honestly, he’s the size of a small dog) and has been my wingman for the last ten years. In that time, we’ve had our fair share of adventures together.

The August Buckt box landed on our doormat right at the beginning of my week off work and in the middle of Lucie’s school summer holidays so the timing could not have been better. For those of you that haven’t read my previous posts about Buckt, you can find out more here.
My lottery win fantasy is to travel. And by this, I mean taking a year or two out from reality with Adam and the girls to explore the parts of Europe that I haven’t yet visited, indulge in a three-month road trip through Southern America, eat street food in Malaysia, learn how to swim in New Zealand and marvel at the culture of Toyoko.
Every year, the East Lancashire Railway host a 1940s weekend at the end of May and it’s an event that’s firmly noted in my diary. It’s become somewhat of a family tradition and one that I look forward to immensely.
